Following the success of her couture label, in 2004 Karen was inspired to create ready to wear bridal dresses, catering to clients who want wedding dresses with couture-like quality, innovative design, and a high level of customer service, but with the ease and price of a ready to wear wedding dress.
The first Karen Willis Holmes ready to wear store opened in Sydney, in Paddington, in September 2004, and proved so successful that Karen opened a second ready to wear store in Melbourne, Armadale, in February 2006, providing more of a wide range of her wedding dresses and gowns.
