The Estelle design was perfect, it had beautiful delicate lace on the bodice and a gorgeous tulle skirt that wasn’t too full – I didn’t want a big ball gown with lots of ‘tizz’ – this was clean and elegant, and had so many fabulous subtle details. "I had flipped through quite a few bridal magazines, tearing out the pages of dresses I liked. When I had a good sized pile, I tried to identify commonalities between them. Karen Willis Holmes dresses featured heavily in my picks. I ended up visiting about ten different designers to try on dresses, but I always thought about this one KWH dress, and it just felt right. I loved the fitted corset, which really showed off my waistline, as well as my height. Also, the cabbage rose detail is so unique and special – I just love it. The women in the shop were tremendously helpful, both the sales assistants and other customers! “So many stores offer tacky over the top bridal wear. I found that KWH had beautiful dresses that appealed to my taste. The bustle train and the detailed handmade shoulder piece...both made the gown really unique and striking. The 1st shop was by myself so the girls in the store were super helpful.
